A feira estava cheia, estava bastante calor e, ainda assim, conseguimos criar ali um cantinho que parecia só nosso: eu, a @sararodi.oficial , os livros e as pessoas que foram lá de propósito para estar connosco. Foi um daqueles dias que vão ficar sempre comigo.🥰

Revi caras conhecidas, abracei amigas que já não via há demasiado tempo (algumas da faculdade, com quem celebro este ano 30 anos de amizade!) e recebi o carinho de quem acompanha este projeto desde o início.🤗

Muito obrigada a todos! Especialmente à Sara, a minha tão querida amiga e companheira de aventuras. Um obrigada enorme também à nossa editora, @alfmaduro , por acreditar neste projeto e dar espaço às nossas ideias.🧡

Uma surpresa que me deixou sem palavras foi a da @rafaknightlaand , que apareceu com lindos ouriços em 3D inspirados no nosso Sempreu.🦔 A sua criatividade consegue sempre surpreender-me, e a sua organização e olhar atento foram o meu salva-vidas na confusão dos autógrafos!🤭

No final do dia, ainda dei uma volta pela feira com a família, vim carregada de livros (claro que sim) e fui para casa com este cansaço bom, que só sentimos quando passamos o dia entre coisas que amamos.

Obrigada a quem apareceu. Mesmo muito obrigada. 🧡

A Feira do Livro sempre fez parte da minha vida.

Lembro-me de lá ir desde pequena e adorar vaguear entre livros. Quando lá estou, sinto que há qualquer coisa que nunca muda: o estar rodeados de histórias, de possibilidades, de pequenos mundos à espera de serem levados para casa...

Agora, é um dos momentos que mais gosto de partilhar com a minha família. Todos os anos, contamos os dias até esta data.

Este ano é ainda mais especial. Eu e a @sararodi.oficial vamos estar na Feira do Livro de Lisboa, no dia 6 de junho às 16h, na Praça Leya, a dar autógrafos da nossa coleção Alerta Emoções.

Se passarem por lá, venham dizer olá.Vamos adorar poder encontrar-vos entre livros!🧡

Este projeto é um projeto diferente.

Nasceu de um convite de uma amiga querida, ligado a um tema muito delicado: a perda gestacional.

Confesso que, de início, hesitei. Não sabia se ia conseguir fazer-lhe justiça através de imagens.

Mas ela convenceu-me ao partilhar as suas ideias ligadas ao lindo @movimentoluz.pt que criou. Disse que queria algo leve, com luz, que fugisse aos símbolos mais óbvios e que, de alguma maneira, pudesse transmitir que estes pequeninos estão bem, presentes de outra forma, a cuidar de quem ficou.

E foi a conversar, a partilhar, a perceber o que ela sentia, que chegámos até aqui: a uma coleção de 10 luzinhas.

Aprendi muito neste processo. Entre outras coisas, aprendi sobre o simbolismo das borboletas roxas, que eu desconhecia completamente. E, acima de tudo, aprendi sobre a importância de dar espaço a estas histórias, falar sobre elas, lembrar e sentir.

Espero que, de alguma forma, estas ilustrações possam levar um bocadinho de conforto a quem precisa.🧡

A @crapaa.animal nasceu há 25 anos da vontade de dar amor e segundas oportunidades a quem mais precisa. 🐶

É sempre um privilégio colaborar com esta associação que trata os animais com o respeito, a dignidade e o carinho que eles merecem. 💝

Os desenhos deste cartaz são meus, mas a magia de todo o design gráfico é da Milene, que, não só tem todo este talento, como ainda ajuda a gerir a Crapaa com criatividade e coragem. 😻

Se puder, apareça no dia 19 de abril, na Expoeste, nas Caldas da Rainha, das 10h às 19h. Vai haver gincana canina, concurso, banda ao vivo, espaço infantil, exposições e muitas surpresas. Vai ser uma festa bonita, com várias pessoas que têm acompanhado e apoiado este percurso ao longo dos anos.

Eu vou estar presente, pois a Crapaa merece mesmo ser celebrada! 🤗

A few days ago I shared here this illustration, in which I had been working on a few years ago. It's finally finished!
I've been thinking about which way it would take and I ended up adding a little girl collector of stars, a dreamy cat (ginger, obviously!) and a quote.✨
It's one of those illustrations that I created very slowly, not so much because of the painting process itself, but because I hadn't yet found what I meant to say with it.
I’m really happy to finally let this one go into the world.🤗

I started this illustration a few years ago for a commission that ended up taking a different direction.
However, I loved the result so much (the blend of watercolour, gouache and small touches of gold paint) that I decided to keep it.
I only rediscovered it recently, and I thought that time has come to finish it as it deserves.
I’m naturally drawn to dreamlike themes, and with so much tragedy happening around us it feels like the perfect moment to bring a little magic back into our lives.💖
So I decided to use this painted sky as a base while slowly adding new details.
I’m juggling other work at the moment, but I found myself really needing a personal project and this one came up at just the right time.�I hope to share it fully finished very soon.✨

This is one of the tiny worlds I’ve been creating at the end of the year.🌟

I’ve made several of these boxes recently, but I can’t share them yet. Just only after delivering each one of them.

So I’m starting with this one.

There is something about this box that feels like a pause that we all need so much and that makes us ask: "Why don’t you let me stay here?” (the quote I pasted in the sky behind the moon)✨

Each box is a tiny story, built slowly, with care, made from recycled materials, and meant to be discovered up close.

This illustration was inspired by Jimmy, who used to climb the tree as if it were his personal lookout tower.
Thankfully, he grew up. Now he simply naps under it like a respectable gentleman.😻

At this point, I have delivered all my orders, so it is time to pause and begin to truly enjoy the magic of this season.
